I recently wrote about ROI and social media here: http://derekshowerman.com/2...

Also, Dell just announced they made a 2M profit buy using Twitter @delloutlet: http://60secondmarketer.com...

Starbucks has innovated their offering to the voice of their customer: http://mystarbucksidea.forc... Innovation to the voice of the customer. Give the customer what they want, when they want it, how they want it- you win their business over and over.

I have a number of other ROI stories to share, but because of NDA's I cant share company names, but can share stories that show real ROI.

Re: The Social Media Skeptic….Changing My Mind

Good article, except for one thing. Metrics. I read and hear a lot about the power of social networking, but rarely see a business post some hard data about how it increased their sales. We are a service orientated business, but I remain skeptical that the time spent will have a postive ROI.

Re: The Social Media Skeptic….Changing My Mind

Excellent article. There's so much power in Social Media and it's amazing to me how many people still don't get it. Thanks for the post. I'll be sharing it.
